Monster, Darling began with a love of paper, books, strange little creatures, and the firm belief that gothic things don't have to be grim.

We make beautiful objects for people drawn to the unusual — handmade stationery, bookmarks, notebooks, and art prints that celebrate readers, writers, romantics, and the beautifully strange. We believe otherness is not a flaw but a feature, and that what society calls monstrous may simply be different.

Our work is rooted in the idea that monsters deserve curiosity rather than fear. We draw inspiration from Victorian illustration, botanical specimens, old manuscripts, and the kind of dark beauty that lives in the margins of classic books — Frankenstein, Poe, Dracula, Carmilla. Not to reproduce them, but to honor the strange sympathy they create.

Every product is designed to be used, not just displayed. Our notebooks are meant to be written in. Our letter sets are meant to be sent. Our bookmarks are meant to hold your place in a book you stayed up too late reading. We make things people actually want to live with.
