The misunderstood
Frankenstein’s creature read Paradise Lost. He wanted companionship. He was rejected for how he looked, not for what he was. Carmilla loved deeply and desperately. Dracula was a host. The minotaur was a child locked in a maze he did not build.
These are not monsters. These are stories about what happens when you judge a creature before you know it.
What we make
Every product at Monster, Darling starts with a question: what if the monster is not the villain? What if the creature in the corner of the illustration is just waiting to be understood? What if the raven on the bookmark is not an omen but a companion?
